Yash Raj Films chose to reveal the star cast of the film through videos shared on social media.
Watch what Vaani Kapoor has to say:
Though the actress did a Tamil film 'Aaha Kalyanam' (2014), she has been missing from the Bollywood scene.
This would be the first time Aditya will direct a film in seven years and without superstar-friend Shah Rukh Khan, the leading star of his directorial previous ventures--"Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayeinge", "Mohabbatein" and "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".
Know how Ranveer Singh reacted on being cast in 'Befikre'
Aditya Chopra has shared earlier that 'Befikre' will "probably not" have the potential to be as successful as his earlier films -- including 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Mohabbatein' -- but has admitted that he absolutely loves it.
The film's tagline reads - "Those who dare to love", indicating that love will be a core element in Aditya's new film.
'Befikre' was announced by Aditya in a special note on father Yash Chopra's 83rd birth anniversary on September 27.

Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z spend millions on holidays?

London: Music stars Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly spent 20 million pounds on holidays this year.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles

The couple - who have an estimated joint worth of 500 million pounds - spare no expense to ensure they have the best time on their trips, and have enjoyed breaks to Florence, Hawaii, Paris, Thailand, and the Caribbean, as well a Mediterranean tour on a superyacht in recent months, reported Look magazine.
"They both have so much money that a 20 million pounds budget for holidays is no big deal. When they're away, it's one VIP day out after another. They spend an insane amount of money but say it's more than worth it as they always have the best time," a source said.
The couple's travel alone regularly costs them 1 million pounds per trip as they insist on jetting off in style.
And the pair - who have three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together - generally spend 5,000 poundsa night to secure villas with their own private beaches, though in Thailand their villa cost 12,5000 pounds a night and in Florence, Italy, they stayed in a 11,000 pounds-a-night suite at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt: 'The Walk' celebrates a real man's achievements

Playing French highwire artiste Philippe Petit in 'The Walk' was special for Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the actor feels the movie serves as a metaphor for achieving something impossible.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Petit made headlines by shooting a wire between the Twin Towers of New York in 1974 and walking between them with the help of a pole. It was called an artistic "coup" as the artiste had not sought any permission from the authorities.
"This (movie) serves as a metaphor. To me, it is about doing something that is impossible. Here is a man (Petit) who has this idea and everything in the world would tell him 'that's impossible. You should not even try to do that.
You will kill yourself'. And he did it anyway," Gordon-Levitt said in an interview in Cancun, Mexico. The actor said what he found inspiring was that Petit was
just a normal man who decided to do something that many considered impossible.
"We celebrate a real-life man who in the face of all those doubts did it anyway. He is a real man. This is not fiction. He is not a superhero from a magical planet. He is just like us. He just made a decision."
Petit took it upon himself to teach the 34-year-old actor the highwire walk. "I don't have particular fear of heights. When my dad saw the movie, he was terrified. I think we all do to some degree.
I learnt to walk on the wire two feet 12 feet off the ground which is where we shot the movie. It is not very high but still that extra 10 feet made a lot of difference."
The actor said walking on the wire was "a wonderful experience" but it hurt his feet a lot. Gordon-Levitt, who stars in another biopic on whistleblower Edward Snowden, considers 'The Walk' as one of his trickiest roles.
"There could be an argument that this movie is the biggest risk and that's true. I have never played an role that was not from the US and I have done lots of different accents, I have done East-Coast, Mid-West, a Bruce Willis accent...
Certainly there were voices in my head saying 'this is insane'... I had to quiet those voices," he said. Also starring Charlotte Le Bon and Ben Kingsley, the Robert Zemeckis-directed movie was released by Sony Pictures India this Friday.

Sean Connery tops James Bond poll in UK

London: The name of their favourite Bond is Connery, Sean Connery, according to the fans of 007 spy.

The veteran Scottish actor topped a poll by 'The Sunday Times' as the best 007 created by writer Ian Fleming. The 85-year-old, who first played him in "Dr No" in 1962, may have long retired to the Bahamas after giving up his licence to kill, but his smoothness is still preferred to the brutish sex appeal of Daniel Craig, 47, the current Bond, the poll found.
Connery polled 45.2 per cent of the vote. Craig took 34.7 per cent, ahead of Roger Moore, the longest-serving Bond, whose wit and innuendo earned him only one 10th of the vote. It is a much closer result than in a similar poll carried out in 2012. Then Connery scored twice as many votes as Craig.
As older cinemagoers fade away and Craig makes more Bond films, his popularity increases. Certainly the "Connery or Moore?" debate seems to have been consigned to history. Craig may still be haunted by the spectre of Connery, but two of his outings in the role topped the poll for the best Bond film. "Skyfall" won with 17.3 per cent of the vote, while "Casino Royale" took 15.1 per cent.
Raoul Silva, a former MI6 officer turned cyberterrorist played by Javier Bardem in "Skyfall", was voted the best Bond villain ahead of Jaws, the steel-toothed assassin pitted against Moore in "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker". The cat-stroking Ernst Blofeld was third.
Ursula Andress, now 79, who played Honey Ryder in "Dr No", has been voted the nation's favourite Bond girl. The scene in which she emerges from the Caribbean dressed in a white bikini was once voted No 1 in a poll to pick the 100 most sexy moments in film.
Ryder captured 22.3 per cent of the vote. Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green in Craig's "Casino Royale", was second. The Australian actor George Lazenby may have polled less than 1 per cent of the vote for one outing as Bond, but Diana Rigg, who appeared with him in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", was third favourite Bond girl.
More than 4,500 people voted in the poll, which ran for the past two weeks in the newspaper's digital editions. "Spectre", slated to hit the screens this November, is the 24th Bond movie and while Craig is reprising his role for the fourth time, two-time Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz is set to play his arch-nemesis this time.
Italian actress Monica Bellucci and and French star Lea Seydoux are the Bond girls in the Sam Mendes-directed movie.

White, 30, died of an apparent suicide in Los Angeles on September 28. The Irish-born makeup artist had dated Carrey, 53, on and off since meeting in 2012 and had just broken up with him recently after dating for a few months, reported E! online.

Carrey was one of hundreds of mourners at Our Lady of Fatima church in the village of Cappawhite in County Tipperary.

The actor and comedian, dressed in a black suit, was one of six people who carried White's coffin from the church to a local cemetery, where she was reportedly to be buried next to her father Pat. He died in 2012 of cancer.

Carrey was seen crying at one point, according to The Irish Mirror. After the service, he took to Twitter, posting a silhouette of himself and White. "Love cannot be lost," he wrote.

Carrey has said he was shocked by White's death. "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was
all that sparkled," he said in a statement after her death.

"My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."

Never-before-seen clips of the late actor recording the voice of the beloved Genie will be included in the Diamond Edition Blu-ray pack of the 1992 animated film, reported Ace Showbiz.
The team behind "Aladdin" visited "Good Morning America" to talk about the digital re-release as well as Williams' contribution to the film.
Co-sreenwriter John Musker said, "We wrote the part with Robin in mind, but we didn't know if he would do it.
Fortunately for us, he did, (but) we were totally walking down the plank. If he said no, we were in big trouble because the whole concept was built around Robin."
Co-writer Ron Clements added, "There was no one else that could be the Genie and fortunately he agreed to do it. And he worked so hard.
We recorded him in four hour sessions, and he would be going four hours straight... by the end he was just drenched. He had so much energy and so much passion."
Animator Eric Goldberg said, "Aside from being funny as anything, he was such a warm person. He was the Genie - it was bigger than life."
The "Aladdin" Diamond Edition Blu-ray pack will hit the stores on October 13.

"She's a Leo so she loves attention, and at certain points when we were younger, it bothered her that I was getting attention in terms of my modeling," Kendall told Cosmopolitan magazine, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"I think that's a natural younger-sister thing - to be jealous. I was jealous of her at times too," she added.
Nevertheless, now that they are growing up and have their own budding careers in showbiz, they become very supportive of each other.
"Now she loves what I do and supports me. She's very into fashion and always texts me when I'm doing a big show like 'That is the sickest thing ever! How were the clothes?' It's as much a part of her as it is mine," Kendall said.

Iranian girl Mandana Karimi, the foreign factor in "Bigg Boss 9", says she is not looking for a career push through the reality show.

"I don't want a push to my career. I don't crave for visibility and I am not looking for job offers. I have good films, which include Ekta Kapoor's 'Kya Kool Hain Hum 3'. My only reason to join this show was to connect with my fans," Mandana told PTI.
"People in India love 'Bigg Boss' and I will get an opportunity to show myself to the people," said the actress, whose father is an Indian.
The Tehran-born model-actress said she never had apprehensions about being a part of "Bigg Boss" and is grateful to have been approached for it.
"It is a great show. It is the biggest show. And also it is being hosted by one of the most loved celebrities in India, Salman Khan. I am really grateful." This season of "Bigg Boss" has many TV celebrities like Roopal Tyagi, Ankit Gera, Kishwar Merchant, Aman Verma and Prince, who are already household names.
When asked if being a newcomer is a disadvantage for her, Mandana said, "I don't think TV people have an advantage. I think perception about you changes every single day when you participate in 'Bigg Boss'. There is no disadvantage for me. I want to be loved by people in India."
The actress said the audience will find her accent entertaining and hopefully that will keep her safe on the show.
"I think the audience will be entertained by my accent as they will find it very funny. Also my fitness routine is something, which I think they will find interesting," she said.
"Bigg Boss 9" airs on Colors everyday at 10:30 pm.

Suyyash and Kishwer want to be the ideal couple on 'Bigg Boss 9'

TV actor Suyyash Rai and actress Kishwer Merchantt are one of the real-life partners on "Bigg Boss Nau" and their constant effort on the show will be to try and remain the perfect couple.

Kishwer and Suyyash, who met during the shoot of TV soap "Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani", have a huge fan following, thanks to their public display of affection on social media sites. They are often referred by fans as "Sukish".

"It is going to be difficult to be with each other in front of so many cameras all the time. There is no denying that we are too much in love, we have been very open about our relationship. So, even on the show we will be exactly the way we are in real life. We want to be the ideal couple on 'Bigg Boss'," Suyyash told PTI.
Echoing her boyfriend's sentiments, Kishwer, who is older to Suyyash by 7 years, said both of them want to show their best side to the audience.
"We have always been perceived as this cute couple. We want that side of us to come out on the show as well. I am not saying that we will not fight or have arguments but we will make up later. The audience will love to see that side," she said.
In a house full of strangers, Kishwer and Suyyash have a slight advantage as they have each other to fall back on during difficult times.
"That is a big relief for us. I am happy that we are together and we can take care of each other," Kishwer said. They, however, maintained that they will be competing as individuals.
"It is a game and even though we may be participating as a pair, we are both individuals and we will play like that. We both want to win the show," Kishwer said.
"Bigg Boss Nau", hosted by Salman Khan, airs on Colors.

While everyone is tired and waiting to get into their comfortable clothes before going off to sleep, Bigg Boss throws the very first googly at the contestants. It is announced that each contestant pair will be able to receive luggage of any one member while the other will have to compromise. They are asked to mutually decide and give names of the contestants whose bags they want to keep. As a result, most men in the house end up sacrificing their bags to save the damsels in utter distress! The rest of the bags are shredded in front of the contestant leaving everyone astonished and shattered. While Roopal and Kishwer break down, others try to console themselves and get over this shock.

Reiterating the fact that the paired contestants cannot break their “connection”, the inmates of the house are woken up to the song “Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge”. The contestants are seen discussing about everyone’s behaviour inside house and anticipating how their stay is going to pan out further. Aman and Kishwer are seen discussing how Prince looked bored sitting by as Rochelle and Keith spend time together. The housemates are pleasantly surprised when they receive the ration for the week and get excited to cook. While the men of the house take lead in the kitchen, women are seen taking a back seat as none of them are good at culinary skills.

She also goes on to say that she is finding it weird as they broke up a long time back and have even worked with each other after that. Sans gadgets, a six-hour lockdown inside the 'Bigg Boss Nau' house

Viewers of the controversial reality TV show 'Bigg Boss' are often told that the contestants have little, or, no contact with the outside world. A band of journalists found this to be true when the show's organisers put them in the locked-down house for over six hours to experience how the contestants will feel when they are cooped up for over 100 days.

Fourteen celebrity contestants, with different temperaments will be within the four walls and under the same roof and under the constant gaze of over 100 cameras as "Bigg Boss Nau" -- the ninth edition of the Indian version of the international reality TV show "Big Brother" - from Sunday on.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will flag off the 'Bigg Boss Nau' and its tagline 'Double Trouble' leaves viewers guessing.
The curious journalists flew down from New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and marched into the double-gated set of the show in Lonavala, a hill station in the Western Ghats some 80 km from Mumbai.

But first, they were made to surrender their cameras, phones, notebooks, pens, watches and were frisked by eagle-eyed crew members of the show.
Blindfolded, the journalists were escorted in pairs into the house and were asked to speak only in Hindi on the ornate premises, which is painted in a splatter of bright hues of blue and floral prints to keep with the spirit of the coming contest.
The chalet-styled house, where contestants of the ninth edition of the reality TV show will compete for the coveted trophy and prize money, was designed by "Mary Kom" director Omung Kumar, said Deepak Dhar, managing director of Endemol Shine India, the producers of "Bigg Boss Nau".
"Omung took four months to design the house... We love this because it's different from any other show. But in this show you can change the theme, house and element. We are spoilt for choice because we have about 50 countries where this show is running, and we meet most of the creative directors of those countries almost twice a year," Dhar told IANS.
The Yin and Yang pools punctuate the gardens, with lounging bed for sun-bathers.
The balcony overlooks a lush green garden, with a purpose of accentuating courtship among the attending couples, while the living room contained a purple sofa, multi-coloured cushions and shaded chandeliers facing toward the "Me TV", a major prop in the show.
The dining area stretched to an open kitchen but the most interesting part was the 14 multi-coloured seats attached to each other in pairs.
The 14-bed dormitory was in a pair of seven, facing a cheeky candy pink lounging sofa.
At the back of the beds were bright coloured cushions pinned to the wall. A silhouette of a man holding a woman on the wall highlighted the romance factor, which is so prominent on the show.
Asked if the show will get any bolder than before, Dhar told IANS: "I can't really tell if it's going to be bolder or will it be tamer, that really depends on the house mates, on how they really project themselves."
The "Bigg Boss Nau" bathroom is a distinct French 'Moulin Rouge' experience with typical shades of red and blubs ringing the mirror to light up the participants as they prune themselves.
The journalists were served breakfast and then the commanding voice of 'Bigg Boss' announced: 'Nominations ki prakriya shuru hogayi hai (the process for nominations has begun)'.
Later, the journalists were called into the confession room to nominate two other fellow scribes.
Unexpectedly, journalists were also given tasks, as if we were the contestants.
In pairs, the reporters had to hold footballs with one hand and walk forward and backwards as per instructions. The second task was to communicate through singing.
Finally, the voice of Bigg Boss asked the journalists to vacate the house in a group from its main entrance by 4.00 p.m.
The six-hour experience left a sobering memory of camaraderie as it dawned upon us that one can live sans modern gadgets and lifestyle.

Rimi Sen: Took up 'Bigg Boss 9' to reconnect with fans

'Dhoom' girl Rimi Sen is venturing into film direction next year and the actress says she is using the 'Bigg Boss Nau' platform to connect with her fans again.

Rimi Sen
Rimi Sen
The 34-year-old Bengali beauty, who was last seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Shagird' in 2011, said she has not bid adieu to acting.
"I am venturing into direction next year so I am using 'Bigg Boss' as my base to connect with my fans again. I have been very choosy about my roles, so my fans have seen me in a handful of films in my 12-year Bollywood career," Rimi told PTI before entering the house.
The 'Hungama' actress said that unlike previous female contestants, she won't choose the kitchen as her best place in the house.
"I hardly know how to cook, so I won't be seen in kitchen for sure," she said.
Rimi has not done any preparation to be a part of the house. She promises to be herself and stay away from the controversies.
"I am a very calm and composed person when I am in some troubled situation. You will not see me in any controversy. I take time to open up with others," she said.
This time, the actress is the only Bollywood celebrity contestant in the house and the actress has no qualms about it.
"I don't know who all will be part of it. But if it's true, I don't have any issue," she said.
'Bigg Boss Nau - Double Trouble', will air Monday to Friday at 10:30pm and weekends at 9:00pm on Colors.
