Ayushmann Khurrana: Singing adds to my credibility as an artist

Actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana feels his singing skill adds to his “credibility”, and asserts that he likes to revisit happy moments of the past with his music as it “has its own charm”.

Be it “Pani da rang”, “O heeriye” and “Mitti di khusboo” - there is a recurring pattern in Ayushmann's songs and that is the feeling of nostalgia.

And he is charged up to stick to the theme again with his upcoming single “Yahin hun main”. It will also feature Yami Gautam, with whom he made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with "Vicky Donor".

“The common factor in my songs is that they are Punjabi, and the second is nostalgia. While we are going with Hindi instead of Punjabi this time, nostalgia is still there as I think it works well.

"It gives you a happy feeling when you think about happy moments of the past. The same thing happened with 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha',” Ayushmann told IANS.

He added: “I think it (nostalgia) has its own charm. I guess there is no song without love and it always works. So, this is the theme and lyrics are 'Yahin hun main kahin na gaya tujhe chodke'”.

Talking about his singing act, he said: “I feel blessed and fortunate that I can give my voice to my own character. This adds credibility as an artist and this time around I'm co-composer and co-lyricist with Rochak Kohli.”

Before joining the film industry, Ayushmann explored the realms of reality television, hosted gigs and even went behind the mic.

The actor, who has even penned his thoughts in the book “Cracking The Code”, noted that the video will be out somewhere around Diwali.

“We are yet to shoot the video. We are contemplating between hills or beach. We will be shooting in the last week of October. We are trying to make it in completely different genre all together,” he said.

For Ayushmann, the video spells “mini reunion” with Yami, his wife Tahira - who is conceptualising it and video director Amit Roy.

Ask him how he picks his songs, and Ayushmann is quick to note that he looks for a “personal connect”.

He added: “There has to be a personal connect as if you are not relating to the song then you cannot make listeners connect to it as well”.

Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Have Called Off Divorce

After a medical emergency last week kept the relationship of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian under a huge microscope, it has been reported by TMZ that the on-again/off-again couple have decided to call off their divorce, which was headed for finalization, and will give another shot at their marriage.

“Khloe’s lawyer Laura Wasser went before a judge Wednesday morning, asking a judge to withdraw the papers they both signed to end their marriage,” the site reports. “The file was sitting in a pile waiting to be processed and signed by a judge. The judge granted Wasser’s request and the file is now dead.”

The basketball player and the reality starlet tied the knot in September 2009 after a month of dating, and Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013 after months of speculation from the press. The cause for the split was cited as “irreconcilable differences,” with numerous outlets claiming Odom was having difficulty keeping his drug and alcohol problems under control and that he was cheating on Khloe.

The severity of his problems were brought to the forefront on Tuesday, Oct. 13 after Odom, 35, was found unconscious at a Las Vegas, Nev. brothel after consuming an unknown amount of different drugs and alcohol. He was placed on life support after slipping into a coma until he regained consciousness a few days later. Kardashian flew to the hospital to be with him and reportedly never left his bedside. He was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Oct. 20), and will have to undergo months of physical therapy in order to help him along his long road to recovery.

After separating, Khloe was linked to rapper French Montana and most recently the shooting guard for the Houston Rockets, James Harden. Just yesterday (Oct. 20), it was reported that Kardashian, 31, placed her relationship with Harden on the back burner so that she could take care of Odom.

This proves that the love the two have for each other is extremely strong despite their issues in the past. Hopefully Odom makes a strong recovery and Khloe’s support helps him through it.

Miss Bum-Bum finalists are revealed in Brazil's cheekiest backside beauty pageant

The Miss Bum-bum finalists have been revealed, as Brazil's most bizarre beauty pageant reaches the final stages to crown the country's best bum.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Kim Kardashian and J Lo, more than 500 women applied to take part in thepageant, with 27 chosen to represent each of the Brazilian states, and 15 then put before the public vote in November.

And now the final 15 have been revealed at last.

Posing up for a final shoot together, the girls have all stripped down to Brazilian-themed bikinis as they attempt to win the most votes from their admirers.

Talking about the event organiser Cacau Oliver said: "The Miss Bum-Bum competition is to elect Brazil's most beautiful bum.

"It started five years ago here in Brazil, and now we are opening up the phase of public voting."

We had previously met contestant Claudia Alende , who looks remarkably like Megan Fox - but she was up against some of the best bums in the country in last year's competition.

She lost out to Indianara Carvalh.

Although the contestants are excited to take part, runner up in the pageant last year, Andressa Urach, nearly died after procedures to enhance her rear began to rot.

This year contestants had to prove that they had not undergone surgery nor used chemical products.

Bottoms are a thing of national pride in Brazil, where some Carnival beauties have been reported to get their behinds covered by insurance companies.

Beyonce 'believed Jay Z hooked up with Rihanna during secret break' according to outrageous claims in new book

Beyonce believed the rumours Jay Z hooked up with Rihanna while they were on a secret break, a new book outrageously claims.

Celebrity journalist J. Randy Taraborrelli has written about their marriage in the unauthorised biography, Becoming Beyonce, and alleges they started rowing over her 'obsessive dedication' to work back in 2005, three years before they got married.

“He felt that she was too concerned with [work] and overwhelmed by it…She also had a tendency to becomemoody and defensive when under great work pressure, and it had begun to drive a wedge between her and Jay,” Taraborrelli writes.

"The two broke up for a time during that year. She flat-out told him she needed a break."

It was during their time apart that Jay allegedly hooked up with his protege Rihanna, who was 17 and signed to his label Def Jam.

A former member of Rihanna’s camp allegedly confessed to Taraborrelli that he made up the claims in order to kick-start the Barbadian beauty's career as a pop star.

They may not have hooked up but the author claims Bey believed the gossip and ended up having trust issues when it came to Jay.

"Beyonce wasn't sure she could trust Jay when it came to his adamant denials," he writes. "She couldn't help but be skeptical.”

The tension allegedly ended in a full-on row in New York at the rapper's 40/40 club.

“All that was heard…was Rihanna's name uttered several times, before Beyonce stood up and stormed off,” Taraborelli alleges.

They pair later got back together in 2006, as Beyonce is understood to have felt “lost” without her man, who she has now been with for 15 years.

But even after tying the knot, Taraborrelli claims it was a sore subject for Beyonce and the infamous lift incident with her sister Solange after the 2014 Met Gala was a result of a conversation about them attending a party hosted by RiRi.
