President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama will be hosting a White House event Wednesday (Oct. 14) that celebrates the arts which will feature performances from Queen Latifah, Usher and more, Billboard reports.
The “In Performance at the White House” installment, which will air on PBS in January 2016, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of legislation that created the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Other performers include singer and actress Audra Macdonald, James Taylor, Smokey Robinson and Trombone Shorty.
Before the performances, the FLOTUS will host a student workshop with help from MC Lyte, Esperanza Spalding, Keb Mo’ and Robinson.
