Vin Diesel pays tribute to Paul Walker at Teen Choice Awards

Los Angeles: Hollywood actor Vin Diesel paid a glowing tribute to Paul Walker at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday as the late star won the Choice Movie Actor award in the Action/Adventure category.

Walker, who died in November 2013 in a car accident, beat out competition from Ansel Elgort, Dylan O'Brien, Taylor Lautner, Theo James and Diesel to claim the award for his performance in "Furious 7", reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Diesel paid tribute to his friend when he took the stage to accept the surfboard for Choice Movie: Action/Adventure alongside co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, and Jordana Brewster, saying: "I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us.

"One of the best blessings in our lives was the fact that we had the opportunity to call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us."

"Furious 7" also won the Choice Movie: Action/Adventure award.

Meanwhile, the biggest winners of the night were British pop boy band One Direction, who won eight awards in total, including Male Music Group, Choice Summer Music Group, and Choice Selfie Takers.

However, the band - which now consists of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - were not at the event at the Galen Centre here in person and were instead forced to accept their awards via video link.

Fellow British band Little Mix won the surfboard award for Choice Music Breakout Artists.

Kevin Bacon 'interested' in returning to 'Tremors' character

London: Hollywood star Kevin Bacon says he would be interested in coming back to his 'Tremors' character Valentine McKee.

The 57-year-old actor, who essayed the role first time in 1990, admits that of all the characters that he has played over the years, McKee is the only one that he would like to return to, reported Digital Spy.

"It's a surprisingly good movie, I remember it being a little more sillier than it is. (Valentine is) the only character that I've ever done that I'm interested in
revisiting 25 years on," Bacon said.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actor says he himself is very much keen to know if the character "gets the guts" to make everything work his way or not.

"Because I look at the guy and he's stuck in this town with this other guy, he's got all these dreams, delusions of grandeur... But he's really sort of stuck and when you get to the end of the movie you feel like, you're kind of hopeful that he does make a movie, and gets the guts to kiss the girl and pulls every together.

"The question on whether that happens or not, to me is an interesting question," he said. Directed by Ron Underwood and starring Bacon, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, Michael Gross, and Reba McEntire "Tremors" went on to become a cult hit.

Tom Hardy to produce film on '100 Bullets' comic series

Los Angeles: Hollywood actor Tom Hardy is on board to produce the feature film adaptation of "100 Bullets" comic series along with New Line.

The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actor is producing with an eye to star in the adaptation of the acclaimed comic by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, said The Hollywood Reporter. Tom Hardy, 37, will produce with Dean Baker under their Hardy Son & Baker production banner.

The project is already under progress, having a script written by 'The Vatican Tapes' writer Chris Borrelli. The popular comic revolved around an mysterious man named Agent Graves who presents various people with a gun for an unknown reason with the identity of the person who ruined their lives... And a hundred rounds of untraceable ammunition.

'100 Bullets' is the first Vertigo feature project to actively move forward in any way since New Line took over the imprint.

The comic series was previously considered to be adapted as a television series with David Goyer involved and was also being developed as a movie by Akiva Goldsman's production company Weed Road.

Sofia Vergara in 'The Simpsons'

Los Angeles: Actress Sofia Vergara will guest star in popular animated sitcom 'The Simpsons'.

The 43-year-old has lent her voice to the character of Mrs. Berrera, a new teacher at Springfield Elementary School who Bart Simpson develops a crush on, in the new season of the animated show, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Vergara's character will be seen in the "Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles" episode which will see Bart drink a milk substitute that contains some irregular hormones that trigger early puberty, and see the 10-year-old boy grow a moustache and more adult feelings and once Mrs. Berrera pays him some attention he falls in love with her.

Mrs. Berrera will also attract attention from Principle Skinner, after he learns she is also a fellow war veteran, and the storyline will see the hapless headteacher and his nemesis Bart fight for her affections.

In the episode, Skinner will once again be voiced by Harry Shearer, who is returning to the programme after leaving earlier this year over a contract dispute.

Vin Diesel shares cute picture of baby daughter Pauline

Los Angeles: Actor Vin Diesel has shared a picture of himself with his baby daughter Pauline. The 48-year-old 'Fast and Furious' star took to Instagram and posted a photo of his daughter who is seen kissing his head, reported E! Online.

"All love...," Diesel captioned the father-daughter moment.

The actor had previously posted another photo with his tiny tot wearing an "I (Heart) Dad" onesie.

"Made it home today for dinner with the family. Pauline's first Father's Day. Blessed," he wrote alongside the photo.

Vin Diesel announced the birth of Pauline on March 16 with an adorable pic of the newborn.

One week later, Diesel revealed he named her Pauline after his late friend and co-star Paul Walker.
