Los Angeles: The experimental 1995 indie film 'Don's Plum' was pulled from Vimeo after the project's producer attempted to release it online.

The lead stars, Leonardo Dicaprio and Tobey Maguire, reportedly hated the finished version of director R D Robb's film, which was subsequently pulled from release thanks to legal action on behalf of its actors, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"Vimeo has removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire claiming that this material is infringing: Don's Plum," a note on Vimeo's website reads.
The film was released online for free by its producer Dale Wheatley.
"Although the film remains banned in the US and Canada," Wheatley wrote in a statement on the film's site, "as a writer and producer I am making the film available under my copyright for the sole purpose of promoting my work as an independent filmmaker."
Wheatley first released the film to his site last month. In addition to DiCaprio, Maguire, and Connolly, 'Don's Plum' also stars Jeremy Sisto and musician Jenny Lewis.
