A 22-year-old up-and-coming rapper named Sam a.k.a. Corporate Dough saves himself by dropping a freestyle to replace the lyrics he forgets.
Make sure you know the lyrics to all Kendrick Lamar songs before you jump onto the stage to rap with him at one of his concerts. Unless you can replace the lyrics you forget with awesome freestyle.
A fan named Sam did that when he recently attended Lamar's show during the Day and Night Festival in Houston. The 22-year-old aspiring rapper also known as Corporate Dough was lucky enough to be picked by the Compton native to join him for his hit "m.A.A.d. city". He, however, nearly ruined everything by forgetting some lines.
Luckily, Sam managed to save himself by dropping his own freestyle in front of a large crowd packing the venue. Before exiting the stage, he introduced himself and confidently declared, "If I die now, everything will have been worth it."
This may not be the last time people hear about him. Following the performance with Lamar, TMZ reported that Sam's freestyle impressed Jas Prince who happened to be in the audience. The young MC told the site that Prince approached him after the show and asked for a meeting.
