Taylor Swift 'eyeing up £4.6 MILLION Scottish castle': Take a look inside 16th century property

Taylor Swift is reportedly looking at setting up a UK base to be closer to boyfriend Calvin Harris - and she could do much worse than this stunning £4.6 million castle.

That's right, the Shake It Off singer is trading 1989 for the 16th Century with speculation she is interested in buying the Tower of Lethendy, north of Perth in Scotland.

According to various reports, the star has made enquiries into the castle because she wants a home near her superstar DJ lover and his family.

They're based in Edinburgh - roughly a 90 minute drive away - so the 40 acre grounds would be perfect for her to settle in the country.

With eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms in the main house, the Scottish Baronial manor house is a good fit for one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

It dates back to 1570, and also boasts two gate lodges and two staff cottages - along with an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts and heated swimming pool.

It wouldn't be the first time Taylor has bought a home to be closer to her man after she purchased a property next door to then-boyfriend Conor Kennedy.

Last year, she joked about moving closer to BFs and said it drove them away.

She told Vanity Fair: "People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me."

Meanwhile, Tay-Tay recently found herself facing the brunt of Miley Cyrus' blunt way of voicing her opinions - although she has praised her for never holding back.

She's on the receiving end of it now, but the Shake It Off singer gushed about her now-rival after they worked together in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.

Speaking at the time, she said: "She's just such a positive person. She's not reserved. She doesn't hold anything back, which is one of my favorite things about her."
