Justin Bieber look-alike died of 'drug intoxication'

Los Angeles: Toby Sheldon, the Justin Bieber look-alike who spent a lot on surgery to look like the pop star, had reportedly died due to "multiple drug intoxication".

The 35-year-old, whose real name was Tobia Strebel, was found dead in a motel hotel room in the San Fernando Valley last summer.

An autopsy report obtained by tmz.com from the L.A. County Coroner listed the cause of death as "multiple drug intoxication" and stated that there was no apparently trauma or foul play.

As per the report, Sheldon had a mixture of narcotic painkillers and prescription drugs in his system at the time of his death.

He was found dead last August days after he was reported missing.

At the time it was reported that drugs may have been involved, but last September the coroner confirmed they were unsure if it was a suicide.

Rihanna doesn't want her fans 'catching Pokemons' at concerts

Paris: Singer Rihanna is not impressed with her fans playing Pokemon Go during her concerts.

The 28-year-old star performed at the Grand Stade in Lille on July 23 and warned the crowd that she doesn't want them to be using their phones for texting or playing the augmented reality smartphone game, reports eonline.com.

"I don't want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends," Rihanna told the crowd during her performance.

"I don't want to see you catching any Pokémons up in this b**ch," she added.

However, several stars are massive fans of the game including Justin Bieber, Chrissy Teigen and Lily Allen.

One Direction celebrates six-year anniversary, thanks fans for support

London: Boy band One Direction celebrated its six-year anniversary on July 23 and the hashtag #6yearsof1D trended on Twitter.

The band, comprising Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, expressed its gratitude toward fans with heartwarming messages, reported Female First.

Tomlinson said in a video shared on One Direction's account, "I just wanted to film a little message to say thank you because you guys are incredible. Your continued support is remarkable, really, and every single one of you had a hand in changing our lives. I hope you're as proud as we are."

He followed it up, "Read so many amazing tweets from you guys ! Thanks for sharing the memories with us .. Here's to many more."

Style wrote, "Six years. I have no idea how to say thank you for all your support. For everything you are, and everything you've done, thank you. H."

Niall posted, "6 years. wow ! As Louis touched in his message , each one of you have played in a part in changing lives... You are the best fans in the world as you know. Thank

A source says, “He insisted on being served more drinks even though he is not allowed a sip due to health issues. His staff kept asking him to behave himself, but he ignored them and continued chatting with the guests with a drink in hand. When they persisted to make him stop drinking, he asked them to mind their own business.”

What was shocking to the guests was the otherwise well-mannered actor’s aggressive behaviour. The source adds, “He was down to earth when he entered the industry a couple of years ago, but success seems to have changed him. He has never acted out earlier, so his team didn’t know how to handle the situation. One of his assistants had to cajole him to take his medicines so that he didn’t fall sick. Although he agreed to gulp down the pills, he downed many more glasses before calling it a day.”

Jennifer Aniston's words of wisdom for young girls

Former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston gave an empowering speech to young girls as she was honoured for her television and film career at the 46th Annual Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.

She spoke to the attendees of the children's festival about her career in Hollywood. The star encouraged the aspiring writers and filmmakers in the audience to step away from the obsession with social media and create projects grounded in the real world, reported a website.

The actress also spoke about facing self doubt. "There are not enough fingers and toes in this entire room to count how many times that moment has happened to me," she said.

Aniston added, "We're all human beings at the end of the day, whether we're a waitress or a baker or a student or whatever we are, at the end of the day you kind of hit walls and think I kind of can't go any farther. Or, this is too much. My heart can't take it or the pain is too great, or am I good enough? Will I survive? And, you just have to sort of somehow miraculously overcome. You just go, 'I can't, yes I can, yes you can.'"

She further said, "There's nothing that separates us [actors/idols/icons] from you, because we all started at the same place. We all came out of nowhere. Don't punish yourself if you feel that. Go talk to people and seek help and always find something to inspire you."

'Ghostbusters' director Paul Feig: I'd love to do a film with SRK

The director, who is busy with his film 'Ghostbusters', also shared that his wife Laurie is a 'Bollywood fanatic' and a big fan of Shah Rukh, who has spent over two decades in filmdom and has earned epithets like 'King Khan', 'King of Romance' and 'Badshah'.

"I would love to do a film with Shah Rukh. My wife would be so happy," Feig told IANS here.

"I won't see my wife again," he quipped.

Back in May, when Shah Rukh hosted a star-studded dinner party for Apple CEO Tim Cook Feig's wife had tweeted: "Some day I hope Paul Feig can be welcome at Mannat! Dream, Shah Rukh Khan."

Shah Rukh had then invited the couple over for a meal. The "Spy" director had then responded: "You're on, Shah Rukh Khan! I'll bring the ketchup. It would be an honour to meet you. Many thanks, my friend."

When asked about the virtually fixed dinner date, during a press event organised by Sony Pictures Entertainment for select media from across Asia for "Ghostbusters" here, Feig shared the fascination he has for Indian cinema and the superstar.

Feig's wife's favourite movie is Shah Rukh-starrer "Om Shanti Om", the director shared.

Right now, it is all about ghosts and women for Feig.

Feig, known for his flair of weaving comedy and action elements into his films, has given a 'female-centric' twist to "Ghostbusters", a reboot of the famous 1984 eponymous American supernatural horror comedy.

He has infused new life to the story with advanced technology and by replacing the male protagonists with a female cast, roping in stars like Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. The film, which also stars Chris Hemsworth, will release in India on July 29.

The press event was held in anticipation of the release of "Ghostbusters" and was attended by McCarthy as well.

McCarthy chipped in to say that Laurie's airplane journeys are always "amazing" thanks to Bollywood.

"Whenever we ask, 'How was your flight?' She says, 'I saw Bollywood... It was amazing, incredible'," McCarthy said.

London: Eddie Redmayne thrilled fans at the 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' Comic-Con panel by walking through the crowd and giving out wands.

The 34-year-old actor, who portrays Newt Scamander in the upcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off movie, delighted the 6,500 people in Hall H by walking through the crowd to give out the magical items and urged them to shout 'Lumos Maximus' as the house lights went up, reported Female First.

Gwen Stefani planning trip to Walt Disney World

Los Angeles: Singer Gwen Stefani is planning a trip to Walt Disney World but has limited time there so has asked for advice on the best park to visit.

The 46-year-old star will be visiting the resort in Orlando, Florida, but doesn't have much time there so will only go to one park, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She asked her followers on Twitter: "What's the best park to go to at Disney world if you only have time for one?"

Stefani -- who has three children, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and two-year-old Apollo, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale -- was met with lots of responses and the majority suggested that she took her sons to the Magic Kingdom as they would all have a great time there.

It is not known when she intends to visit Walt Disney World but some said that if she goes in the next few weeks, she might want to consider going to the water parks as it will be hot.

Barring a few, most B-Town folk shied away from tweeting about the big story. Internet trolls, however, had a field day, coming up with memes and jokes on what led the Rajasthan High Court to give a clean chit to Salman.

Salman's father, Salim Khan wasn't in the least bit amused about the relentless trolling. He said, "We are relieved and happy. We always knew we would get justice. I would say that people who have been talking against this [ruling] need to respect the judgment. Even if it had gone against us, we would have accepted it."

Singer Sona Mohapatra and celeb hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani, who had earlier slammed the Sultan actor over his 'rape' remark, condemned his acquittal. Sapna wrote, "Salman Khan is the biggest joke to come out of India" while Sona said, "Money, political Mileage & messiah of Mediocrity. 3M's help 'get away'. Not for long."

How black is the buck?

Excerpts from what Renuka Shahane, Salman's reel bhabhi in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, wrote on Facebook: "In 1998 a blackbuck & 2 Chinkaras (that are endangered species) were allegedly killed on a hunting trip that included Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, Tabu and Sonali Bendre. Somehow... they wanted to shoot endangered animals. And they did and ate them too. But did they? Out of all, only Salman was charged for killing a blackbuck and a chinkara. He also served time for the same in Jodhpur jail. No charges were framed against the others. The case carried on and on and on as our cases do for two main reasons — 1) Having big bucks (sometimes even black bucks, different from the blackbuck who passed) or 2) Not having big bucks.

Salman of course falls in the 1st category. So, now, after 18 years he has been acquitted of charges in both cases. Some questions come to mind: 1) Who killed the Black Buck & the Chinkaras? 2) Did the driver kill them? 3) Did nobody kill them? 4) Do judges decide according to Buckworth-Lewis method? (What? Er...it's Duckworth-Lewis?) Sorry! 4) Who will pay for the mental torture that Salman has had to go through now that he has been declared not guilty? 5) Doesn't the nation want to know the truth? (preferably very loudly) What? The nation doesn't want to know? No? Why? Oh you don't say... busy spending bucks on Sultan...

Er, then let it pass....yeah the Buck, what else? Dear, deer! Surreal!!!"

Box office: Rajini's 'Kabali' overshadows Irrfan's 'Madaari'

Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kabali' smashes overseas records in opening weekend, including Sultan's; Hindi version pips Irrfan Khan's 'Madaari' at the box office

The box office last weekend was all about Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kabali' (Read Review), both in domestic and international markets. While the gangster drama did extraordinary business in the South, its Hindi dubbed version also caught the fancy of moviegoers in other parts of the country. In its opening weekend, it has managed to collect around Rs 2 crore more than Irrfan Khan's 'Madaari', Bollywood's solo offering that released alongside.

On day one, 'Madaari' witnessed less than 10 per cent occupancy for morning shows; the footfalls for 'Kabali' (Hindi) were almost double that. Early shows of the original version (Tamil) ran houseful in several parts of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

Irrfan Khan in 'Madaari'

What's more, Rajini's magic took the overseas box office by storm, minting $13 million (Rs 87 crore) in three days flat. With this, it has overtaken Aamir Khan's 2013 action thriller 'Dhoom: 3' ($10.3 million or Rs 69.2 crore) to become the highest opening weekend grosser abroad.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh said, "The Tamil and Telugu versions of Kabali had an extraordinary opening in the international market. It was No.1 in Malaysia, No.3 in US-Canada and No.10 in UK box office. In India, it netted Rs 19.15 crore in all three languages — Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, with as many as 1,000 screens devoted to it in the north circuit."

Despite the rush for Rajini, 'Kabali' failed to shatter the opening weekend figures of another big-ticket South film, SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' whose Hindi version had done a three-day business of Rs 22.35 crore. Nevertheless, it posed a challenge to Irrfan's 'Madaari'.

Trade guru Amod Mehra said, "Although made on a modest budget, Madaari was promoted like any big film. However, it opened to average response. Critical acclaim as well as word of mouth buzz was not enough to make its investors happy."

Given a lukewarm response to Madaari, the audience instead chose to watch Salman Khan-starrer 'Sultan', which ended its third weekend run with a total collection of Rs 289.05 crore.

Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, who caused a stir by posting a naked selife on social media in March, says she didn't expect that it would cause as much "drama" as it did.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star sent the internet into a frenzy when she posted a raunchy photograph, with just two black bars protecting her modesty.

Kim admits she was stunned by the outcry as she had only shared it for "fun" because she was proud of losing weight after the birth of her son Saint in December last year, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Kim -- who also has daughter North, 3, with her rapper husband Kanye West -- said: "You know what? I wasn't even thinking about it when I posted it."

"I just knew I was dyeing my hair back dark because I had blonde hair in that shot so it was an innocent thing," she said.

"And I covered up. I covered it up with my censor bars and it looks like a bikini to me so I thought it was all in fun and it was giving me motivation and some people they get so."

She said the reactions were "crazy", as she didn't want to prompt others to do the same.

"It was crazy. I'm not promoting, 'Hey, be like me and do this'. Just do whatever makes you happy. So if you don't like it... I don't get why so much drama surrounded it," Kim added.
