Los Angeles: Rapper Nicki Minaj idolises singer Beyoncé Knowles's lifestyle. The 34-year-old is reportedly bothered by the fact that her friends are all settling down with their families. She would love to have that life for herself, especially one that echoes the life of Beyonce, who is happily married to rapper Jay Z, and has a four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with him.
"All of Nicki's friends are either married, engaged, or having kids - and that bothers the hell out of her," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"She idolises Beyoncé especially, and would love to have a husband, a beautiful child, and live that fairy tale lifestyle that all girls dream of," the source added.
But the "Anaconda" hitmaker has reportedly split from her 29-year-old boyfriend Meek Mill.
Minaj sparked split rumours earlier this week after she posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account by quoting Beyonce's song "Best thing I never had".

Los Angeles: Carrie Fisher is in stable condition after suffering a medical emergency aboard a flight.
Her brother, Todd Fisher, told The Associated Press that she was "out of emergency" and stabilized at a Los Angeles hospital yesterday afternoon. He said he could not discuss any other details about what happened.
The 60-year-old "Star Wars" star experienced medical trouble during a flight from London and was treated by paramedics immediately upon landing in Los Angeles around noon yesterday, according to reports citing unnamed sources.
Celebrity website TMZ, which first reported the incident, said anonymous sources told them the actress suffered a heart attack.
Fisher's publicists and representatives for her mother, Debbie Reynolds, and her daughter, Billie Lourd, did not immediately return calls from the AP.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said paramedics administered advanced life-saving care to a patient at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday and transported the person to a nearby hospital. He did not identify the patient as Fisher.
The actress and author is considered a member of Hollywood royalty her parents are Debbie Reynolds and the late singer Eddie Fisher.
Catapulted to stardom as Princess Leia in 1977's "Star Wars," Carrie Fisher reprised the role as the tough-as-nails leader of a galactic rebellion in three sequels, including last year's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
Fisher is best known for her portrayal of Leia, but she is also an accomplished writer known for no-holds-barred accounts of her struggles with addiction and mental illness.
Her thinly veiled autobiography "Postcards from the Edge" was adapted into a 1987 film version starring Shirley MacLaine and Meryl Streep. She transformed her one-woman show "Wishful Drinking," which played on Broadway and was filmed for HBO, was also turned into a book.

She has recently been promoting her latest book, "The Princess Diarist," in which she reveals that she and co-star Harrison Ford had an affair on the set of "Star Wars."

Chris Brown getting 'serious' with new girlfriend

Chris Brown
Los Angeles: Singer Chris Brown is reportedly getting serious about his new girlfriend Krista Santiago and has given her a key to his house. According to a source, Brown wants to prove Santiago that he is committed to her, reports hollywoodlife.com
"Chris and Krista are dating. But he's learned from his relationships with Rihanna and Karrueche Tran, and is going to keep this relationship out of the media and on the lowest of the down lows," the source said.
"But just because they're keeping it quiet doesn't mean it's not passionate. They're into one another heavy. He's showered her with gifts. They love painting and listening to music together.

"But the most serious gift he's given her is the key to his house. That's huge for him because he wants her to know that he's serious about her and is not creeping and having other females in his house. He basically has an open-door policy with her and that's new for him," the source added.

According to the report, after Sonam's goof-up, another actress present, who was also nominated in the Best Actress category, turned around and said jokingly, "What! Are the terrorists and passengers here?"

Sonam Kapoor meant to thank the actors who played the terrorists and passengers in the film, but ended up making a blunder on stage.

'Raees' star Shah Rukh Khan says Oscars are not a benchmark

Shah Rukh Khan

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says the coveted Oscar Awards are inspirational and not a benchmark, even as he mooted the idea of creating a similar yardstick for the Indian cinema.
"When you see a property like Oscars it's inspirational if not a benchmark."
"They have been going on for years, they have created an academy, everybody looks upto them, not only that, the Golden Globe, BAFTA, but Oscars is the most popular and viewed," Shah Rukh told reporters at an event here last night, when asked if Oscars is the only benchmark for Bollywood.
"If we can create a property for Indian cinema, then it's good. It's ok to take a cue from there, but not think it as a benchmark, rather create a benchmark for ourselves," he said.
The Academy Awards, or Oscars, is an annual American awards ceremony hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to recognise excellence in cinematic achievements in the United States film industry.
The "Chak De India" star thinks Indian cinema should be introduced to the world.
"Whatever experience I have of spending time with them (Hollywood celebrities), (I) think they are gracious. They all attend the awards, being nominated is a big thing for them," the 51-year-old actor said, when asked about Hollywood celebrities sometimes ridiculing the Bollywood style of filmmaking.

"We also judge everybody's work, we also like and not like something. I think everybody makes fun of everyone. It's a duty to introduce everyone to our work, our cinema and our way of making films so that the lack of education can be overcome," he said.

Priyanka Chopra's 'Quantico' shunted due to dipping viewership

Priyanka ChopraPriyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra's Quantico, her big ticket to America, appears to be losing its appeal. The show is being pulled off from its 10 pm slot on Sundays and will now air every Monday from January 23 onwards. The announcement was made by the show's writers on their official Twitter handle yesterday.
The post stated, "We will see your faces on Monday nights at 10 pm starting January 23rd. New night. More intense than ever."
The ratings of Quantico have fallen in the second season, with viewership plunging to less three million total (live), in the recent past. The series will take over the slot that is currently occupied by the freshman drama, Conviction.

The Hayley Atwell-starrer will end its run after 13 episodes. There is still little news on the show that will now replace Quantico and secure the prime position on Sunday, 10 pm.

Blaire Underwood: Always fascinating to work with Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra
American television actor Blaire Underwood has praised her "Quantico" co-star and actress Priyanka Chopra and says it is fascinating to work with her.
"I have had a number of conversations with Priyanka Chopra about being number one on the call sheet being the star of the show. She downplays that, but she is the main protagonist, we watch the show through her eyes and her perspective, so she is very much the star of the show and she carries it with a plum," Underwood said in a statement.
"She is very gracious, she is very humble, she is always prepared, she is professional she is about her business," Underwood added.
The actor says he told Priyanka that she is "emotionally full".
"It's always fascinating to work with her, because she trusts her emotions and if you look in her eyes there is always an emotion in her eyes without trying to do too much," he said.
Underwood, who is seen playing the role of CIA officer in the show, which airs on Star World, says "what makes this show really work is that you really get into the characters".

"And she sets the tone in terms of the standard of the work we are doing, the depth of the work we're doing," he added.
