Beyonce Knowles made a rather grand entrance to the Grammys after skipping the red carpet.The Formation singer kept fans guessing all night but eventually arrived to present the Record of the Year award to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for Uptown Funk.

Queen Bey looked gorgeous in a floor-length white lace gown with splits up both sides to show off her thighs. A high neck and a statement collar gave the singer's outfit a more demure edge. Her hair was neatly swept into a chic up 'do and a pair of diamond-shaped earrings gave her ensemble some added sparkle.
Beyonce had fans confused after choosing to skip the red carpet at the 58th Grammy Awards. Fans rushed to Twitter to ask "Where is Beyonce?", just as it was revealed Rihanna had pulled out of her performance at the glittering ceremony at the last minute. One fan wrote: "In the perfect world, Beyoncé & Rihanna actually are performing together and the jokes on us." Another fan said: "Did Tidal have a meeting today?
Where is Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kanye, and Drake ?!! #GRAMMYs"Others were anticipating Queen Bey's arrival on stage all evening, with one fan writing: "I thought Bruno was going to introduce Beyoncé. I was about to flip my tv just then." RiRi pulled out of her performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and according to reports the singer did arrive at the venue but left after rehearsals.
TMZ reports that the star was advised to pull out by her doctors after struggling with bronchitis and was warned that if she went ahead she could damage her vocal chords forever. Rihanna was due to perform Kiss Me Better at the ceremony.
The news didn't go down to well with the singer's fans who quickly took to Twitter to discuss her absence. One social media user wrote: "Rihanna cancelled her performance cause she's sick. I was actually looking forward to her." Another added: "Rihanna really ruined my mood."
While someone else pointed out: "Rihanna didn't have bronchitis last night when she was at her clothing launch."
Tonight's show was opened by Taylor Swift, who under whelmed fans with a performance of Out Of The Woods.
LL Cool J hosted this year's ceremony while Lady Gaga paid tribute to David Bowie. US star Kendrick led this year's nominations with 11 nods, while Drake and pop beauty Taylor, who were both nominated for seven, hoped to add to their already packed award cabinets with more Grammy statues.
