'Spotlight' to release in India on February 19

Filmmaker Tom McCarthy's biographical drama film "Spotlight", which is nominated in six categories at the upcoming 88th Academy Awards, will release on February 19 in India.

Starring Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci in the lead, the film tells the true story of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe investigation that rocks the city and causes a crisis in one of the world's oldest and most trusted institutions - the Catholic Church.

When the newspaper's tenacious "Spotlight" team of reporters delve into allegations of abuse in the Catholic Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of Boston's religious, legal and government establishment, touching off a wave of revelations around the world.

The investigative thriller is nominated in categories like Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director (McCarthy), Actor in a Supporting Role (Ruffalo), Actress in a Supporting Role (McAdams) and Best Editing.

London: Actress Emma Watson is reportedly dating a 35-year-old American Ivy League graduate William Knight, who is more commonly known as Mack and describes himself as a "tech and business entrepreneur wizard".

According to a source, "Mack is just a normal, down-to-earth guy who has nothing to do with Hollywood, and Emma loves that."

The 25-year-old Watson, previously dated rugby player Matthew Janney until their relationship ended in 2014.

The split was devastating for the actress, but she and Knight have been dating for the last four months, during which time he visited Watson in her home town of Oxford for New Year, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"She was left really hurt by her break-up with Matthew and it's taken her more than a year to feel ready to start again with somebody. They're really happy with each other and see each other whenever Emma does not have work commitments," The Sun's Sunday newspaper quoted a source as saying.

Los Angeles: Pop star Katy Perry linked up with Orlando Bloom and his son Flynn over the weekend.

The pair, who have been spotted hanging out several times already this month, spent all day together on Saturday, reported People magazine.

"They attended a kids' birthday party at Robert Downey Jr's house with Orlando's son Flynn. Katy even sat in the back of the car with Flynn when Orlando drove them to the party," a source said.

Perry, 31, and Bloom, 39 who shares Flynn with wife ex Miranda Kerr  were first seen mingling at the Weinstein Co and Netflix Golden Globes afterparty in January, and already look "so happy" together.

"They were laughing, playing music and joking around with Flynn. They stayed at the party for hours. Katy looked very comfortable at the kids party. She seemed very happy to spend the day with Orlando."

Los Angeles: Supermodel Bar Refaeli, who is expecting her first child with husband Adi Ezra, has been indulging in her craving for burgers.

The 30-year-old says she feels "officially pregnant" after experiencing a strong desire for a meaty treat, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Refaeli posted a photograph of herself tucking into a burger on Instagram.

"Officially pregnant #cravings," she captioned the image.

She revealed on New Year's Eve that she was pregnant.

Alongside a baby and bottle emoji and an image of her positive pregnancy test, she wrote: "2016 is going to be like.. Happy & Healthy New Year!"

Indian-American actor barred from Mexico-US flight over turban

Mexico City - A Sikh Indian-American actor and designer said Monday that he was barred from boarding an Aeromexico flight from Mexico City to New York because he refused to remove his turban.

"This morning in Mexico City I was told I could not board my @aeromexico flight to NYC because of my turban," Waris Ahluwalia wrote in his Instagram account.

The 41-year-old bearded actor posted a picture of himself holding up his boarding pass and another in front of an Aeromexico customer service desk. The House of Waris chief was heading to New York's fashion week.

"Dear NYC fashion week. I may be a little late as @aeromexico won't let me fly with a turban. Don't start the show without me," he added.

The Mexican airline issued a statement late Monday saying that it was obligated to follow "federal requirements in terms of security determined by the US Transportation Security Administration to review passengers."

The airline said it "regrets the inconvenience that any passenger may perceive from the application of these procedures" and it vowed to transport all passengers regardless of their religious beliefs.

As an actor, Ahluwalia appeared in the Oscar-nominated film The Grand Budapest Hotel and the US television series The Carrie Diaries. He also has modelled for clothier Gap.

Khloe Kardashian sets up online dating profile

Los Angeles - Khloe Kardashian has set up an online dating profile following her split from James Harden.

The reality TV star has wasted no time in looking for a new man by signing up to free site OkCupid, and she admitted it was "really fun" filling out the profile with her pal Malika Haqq.

She said: "I've never done online dating before, but just for shits and giggles, Malika and I decided to fill one out.

"It was actually really fun to do, LOL!"

On her profile, Khloe - who is said to have dumped basketball professional James two weeks ago - admits she is a big fan of cinnamon-flavoured sweet treats Hot Tamales and "can't get enough Italian food".

She said: "I always, always have Hot Tamales in my nightstand! I'm actually going to eat some right now."

The 31-year-old star posted details about her profile on her own website and also admitted she is easy-going and loves to spend time with her family, especially the youngsters.
