Morgan Freeman was recently in Varanasi to shoot Nat Geo’s The Story of God series, an expansive documentary that explores the quest of the human being to understand the divine.
The 78-year-old Oscar-winning actor shot the portions of the project with the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje and also interviewed him.
Wearing a blue kurta, comfort fit bottoms and a white hat, Freeman was spotted shooting at Vajra Vidya Sansthan in Sarnath.
The Story of God follows Freeman as he goes on an exploration and intimate reflection on God, immersing himself in religious experiences around the globe.
