Rapper Scarface arrested after BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta



ATLANTA, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Scarface was arrested in Atlanta this weekend shortly after accepting the I Am Hip-Hop Icon prize at the BET Hip-Hop Awards ceremony.

TMZ reported the recording artist was taken into custody Friday night on an outstanding warrant for unpaid child support and transported to the Fulton County Jail.

The 44-year-old musician, whose real name is Brad Terrence Jordan, was still there as of Sunday morning, the entertainment news website said.
