After dominating the box office for two decades, the artist formerly known as The Fresh Prince has returned to his rapping roots. Will Smith teamed with Colombian electronic music group Bomba Estéreo for a remix of the band’s “Fiesta.”
This is the first time since 2005’s Lost And Found album that the public has had the chance to hear Big Willie drop some bars. According to The Associated Press, a video for “Fiesta (Remix)” with Smith is in the works as well.
There could also be more tunes from Will in the near future. The Philadelphia native has reportedly been working with Kanye West on new music.
“I’ve recorded a lot,” said Smith back in February. “I don’t have anything I like yet, but I’ve recorded seven or eight [songs]. It’s not for certain. It’s just explorative.”
